Why book Fairy Good Times?

Fairy Good Times will take the hassle and stress away from parents and guardians. We will plan and carry out the entertainment at your child's party. When you make your booking we spend time with you on the phone to get to know more about you, your child and your child's guests to make the party as personal and special as we possibly can.

How many guests can I have at the party?

Usually the maximum number of children at a party is approximately 20. However this can of course vary. One thing to take into account is the area and space available where you wish to hold the party. We can defiantly cater for larger parties and where necessary a second performer may be required. This is to ensure that you and your guests enjoy a well organised party.

Will I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, to secure your booking a deposit can be made by electronic transfer or direct deposit. I'm sorry we do not have credit card facilities. The remaining balance can be paid on the day of the event.

What happens if I decide to cancel my party after I have paid my deposit?

The deposit is transferable but not refundable. A cancellation fee applies (50% of the full fee) if the party is cancelled within 2 weeks of the party date. The full fee will be charged if cancellation occurs with 24hrs of the party date.

How do I make a party booking?

To make a booking you can either fill in the form on the 'Contact Us' page or call 0404 938 297 to reserve the date and time slot of your event. We will be happy to discuss your requirements and help you organise your party or event.

My child is very shy, I am not sure how she/he will cope being the centre of attention. Any advice?

When booking your party please make sure that this is noted on your booking form or over the phone. When we call you to discuss the party, this is an opportunity to go through any concerns that you may have. Also if the child is very shy it may be an idea not to have all the parents staying at the party as this can sometimes make certain children feel very conscious.

Are your parties suitable when there is a mixed group of ages?

Yes, Fairy Good Times can adapt the entertainment to suit a variety of ages.

Are your parties suitable for 3yr olds?

Yes, we have a wide range of activities suitable for 3year olds. We have also provided entertainment at parties for 1yr olds & 2yr olds. However the entertainment is mainly for the other children attending the party. 

Help! I've decided to have a party at the last minute, have I left it too late to book? 

You're not too late & we can definitely help you! We work well under pressure. We will do whatever we can to help you with your party plans & entertainment needs. 

I have a lot of boys coming to my daughter’s party, will they be catered for?

Yes! We tailor all of the party entertainment to suit the children attending the party. It is very common for boys to be at girls themed parties and we take this into account when selecting the activities. The boys practically enjoy our magic show.

When does the entertainer arrive at the party?

Your entertainer usually arrives 15 minutes - 30 minutes after your guests arrive. This allows time for late comers and for the children to say their 'hellos' and settle in. If you would your entertainer to make a surprise entrance this can be arranged.

Do you perform at parks or other venues?

YES! We are a mobile business, so we come to you. Whether you are  in a hall, park, restaurant, lounge room or backyard.

Do you supply food for the children?

 No, we do not give the children lollies or any other food. Many children have certain food requirements and it is best if the parents handle the food personally.

Will the  entertainer bring the music and stereo?

Yes, your entertainer will bring a music system and a selection of party music.

Do parents stay or leave?

We want this to be as stress free as possible for parents and guardians; so we recommend you sit back, relax and enjoy watching your children have fun. Parents are very welcome to join in the activities. Please also keep in mind how much space is available for the children.

Do I need to provide anything for my entertainer?

No, your entertainer will bring everything needed to run the party. This includes all of the equipment and props needed for the activities. We also bring along something for the children to sit on. We can use this while we are doing the face painting. Your performer will also bring along all of the gifts for the children.

Is the face paint safe to use on children?

Safety and quality is the utmost priority for Fairy Good Times. We proudly use face paints which are specially formulated to be gentle on the skin and are fragrance free. You can rest assured that all of our face paints are manufactured using only approved ingredients and are non-toxic.

How do I wash off the face paint?

The face paints we use are all water based. This makes them as easy to get off as they are to put on. Simply remove with soap and warm water; there is no need for scrubbing or harsh removers. Using baby wipes before soap and water makes it come off even easier.
